This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and protect administrative, operational, and telemetry data when you interact with our platform, mobile applications, or WhatsApp notification services.

We collect operational and personal information strictly necessary for municipal waste management operations:

• Account & Profile Information: User names, official email addresses, contact phone numbers, administrative roles, and governance scope assignments (District, Block, Village).
• Vehicle & Telemetry Data: Real-time GPS coordinates, vehicle registration numbers, ignition status, travel speed, distance covered (km), heading angle, and timestamped route telemetry logs.
• Waste Collection Metrics: Garbage collection trip logs, Resource Recovery Center (RRC) entry weights, collection point visitation status, and vehicle active durations.
• WhatsApp Communication Data: Mobile phone numbers registered for automated daily report digests and delivery status logs processed via Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API.

3. How We Use Collected Data

We process collected data exclusively for authorized operational and administrative purposes:

• To visualize live waste collection vehicle movements on interactive district maps.
• To generate daily operational distance (km) and trip completion reports for authorities.
• To dispatch automated, role-scoped WhatsApp notification digests to registered officers.
• To verify sanitation coverage and optimize municipal fleet routing efficiency.
• To maintain system security, audit authentication logs, and prevent unauthorized platform access.

4. Data Sharing & Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your operational data to third parties. We share data only with verified cloud infrastructure providers supporting platform functionality:

• Google Maps Platform API: For map rendering and route visualization.
• Meta WhatsApp Cloud API: For delivering automated daily report messages to authorized numbers.
• Supabase Cloud & PostgreSQL: Encrypted data storage and database hosting.

5. Data Protection & Security

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL in transit, AES-256 at rest), Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on database queries, and role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure unauthorized personnel cannot access governance data outside their assigned scope.
